    Materials

    Gold vermeil

    Gold vermeil is a form of thick plating that bonds gold over sterling silver as opposed to a base metal (i.e. brass or copper). Similar to gold-filled, these pieces are also tarnish, fade and water resistant as the plating is quite thick (at least 1.0 microns – double that of traditional plating).
